The recent Munich Security Conference was the stage for a historic humiliation of Europe at the hands of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance. Before a group of European leaders eager to continue fueling the war against Russia with money and blood, Vance stated that the greatest threat to Europe’s security is not external but internal. This threat is none other than the freedom of expression on which liberal democracies claim to be founded, which in Europe, is «in retreat.»
Vance aptly highlighted the hypocrisy of European democracies with concrete examples, such as the arrest of individuals for silently praying outside abortion clinics, the persecution of so-called «hate speech» or «disinformation» (especially during the COVID-19 crisis), and the annulment of undesired election results, as seen in Romania. He only half-heartedly acknowledged that all of this ultimately stems from orders issued by his own country, though he excused it by blaming the previous Biden administration. Finally, revealing his liberal Catholic inclinations, the vice president ended by citing John Paul II as a «great champion of democracy,» repeating his famous words: «Do not be afraid»—a call for the unrestricted expression of «the people’s voice.» Reviving the old clichés of classical liberalism, he asserted that one must be willing to defend to the death the right of an opponent to speak freely.
All of this must be understood in alignment with the Trump administration’s battle against so-called woke culture. In the end, however, it is simply a message that Europe must recognize there is a new sheriff in Washington, as Vance himself put it. New winds are blowing through the U.S. government, which has decided to focus on the essentials and defend its economy in an era where its global hegemony is at risk. Naturally, Europe must adapt to this new strategy or be left behind, exposed to ridicule in a geopolitical landscape where it is nearly insignificant among the giants—Russia, China, and the United States, among others.
The most tangible proof of this shift, and the final nail in Europe’s humiliation, is the negotiations already underway between the United States and Russia to bring the war in Ukraine to an end. The peace between Europe and Russia is being brokered by Putin and Trump, the very man once denounced as a threat to world peace. This exposes what everyone knew—though only paid lackeys and useful idiots denied it—that ever since Euromaidan, the entire conflict with Russia has been a staged performance orchestrated by Yankee imperialism.
Yet, no one seemed to care when the United States sabotaged critical European infrastructure like Nord Stream or poured billions into a senseless war. Spain’s Congress even gave a standing ovation to the Jewish actor and American puppet Zelensky, who, always posing in military garb, has dedicated himself to banning opposition parties and elections in Ukraine. Now, the same people who applauded him are tearing their garments over Vance’s speech and calling for a European security policy independent of the United States. However, no European politician dares to speak of leaving NATO or removing U.S. bases from their countries. The psychopaths who rule Europe only demand more money to squander in Ukraine and more arms purchases from the United States, while Washington itself reduces its military spending and invests in more productive ventures. They even go so far as to once again threaten to send European troops against Russia. Of course, this is nothing more than bluster, as Washington’s representative has already told them it is pure fantasy to think of restoring Ukraine’s 2014 borders.
Above all, the sheriff of Washington wants to refocus on what truly matters for Yankee imperialism: completing the genocide in Gaza, seizing the Panama Canal, imposing tariffs, strengthening the dollar, and reclaiming global hegemony. The new right-wing wave sweeping across Europe and much of America is destined to bolster this project.
In this context, Spain’s political class believes it can continue deceiving the people, selling them false alternatives dressed in Christian rhetoric, allegedly critical of woke culture and combating the supposed Islamic threat to Europe. This brand of liberalism has exploited the very product it created, only to lead us back to square one with even greater force. The entire political spectrum of the regime, whether making a fuss or not, has betrayed and sold out Spain. The so-called «brave little right,» as Juan Manuel de Prada puts it, wants to turn Spain into a branch office of the Jewish crypto-fraudster from Argentina and the eccentric Yankee billionaire, who is as anti-Spanish in his rhetoric as in his policies.
One must not forget that Trump’s primary strategic ally in the region is Morocco, whose sovereignty over Western Sahara he recognized—just as he could one day legitimize its claims over Ceuta and Melilla. Other well-known examples of his anti-Spanish stance include renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America and Denali as Mount McKinley, in honor of the pirate president who stole Spanish territories in 1898. Yet, these figures are the supposed allies of those who shamelessly proclaim themselves as saviors in «the hour of the patriots.»
However, there is no politician within the current system who possesses the foresight and historical perspective to recognize that this is, in fact, the great hour for an alliance among Hispanic nations. Not long ago, this idea seemed nostalgic and outdated. Yet now, many are beginning to realize that in a world of great nations and powerful alliances, such a vision is not only possible but essential.
With Europe humiliated, irrelevant, and perpetually servile, if Spain wishes to survive, it has no choice but to look to America and its former reinos, forging strong alliances until a true Hispanic confederation is achieved. Faced with a Europe that is humiliated, decadent, and on the path to extinction, the time of the Spains has come—the hour of Hispanidad.
