The Círculo Carlista Felipe II de Manila is pleased to announce a bi-monthly Historico-Political Conference series. These sessions are designed to provide the essential foundational knowledge necessary to meet the educational needs of every Carlist member. The session will be led by the circle’s chief, Mr. Lawrence Cawas, who is currently expanding his expertise in the field of History to provide well-researched perspectives on our future subjects.
Our Objectives
- Historical Truth: Beyond internal education, our primary goal is to enlighten the audience on authentic history—unmasking, dismantling, and curing the «Black Legends» that have long obscured the truth.
- Defensive Scholarship: We aim to establish a formal, solid stance on the controversial issues facing Traditionalists in academia and on social media, specifically regarding Spanish, American, Philippine, and Carlist history.
Member Participation
We invite all members to attend these conferences to ensure the growth and continuity of our Circle. Participation is not only an opportunity for personal development but a duty and responsibility—a way to demonstrate our deep commitment to the Carlist Cause. We opened this conference primarily for the benefit of the members of the Círculo Carlista Felipe II de Manila, but we also extended our invitation to Carlists outside our círculo, as well as to those who are not part of Carlism but are interested in attending.
Logistics and Accessibility
To accommodate our members, the meeting format will remain flexible:
- Hybrid Model: Sessions will be held either onsite or virtual, depending on member convenience.
- Remote Access: For those located outside of Manila, a virtual setup will be provided for every meeting to ensure no one is excluded.
While our topics for the year are set, we haven’t finalized the specific conference schedule yet. We aim to meet on the first and last Saturday of each month; however, exact times will be announced later as we prioritize the availability of our core members. For further inquiries, please contact the Círculo Carlista Felipe II de Manila via our official Facebook page.
Recognition and Awards
To honor the dedication of our participants, the Círculo will provide the following:
Certificates of Participation: Issued to all attendees at the conclusion of every conference.
Commendation for Excellence: Members who maintain perfect attendance throughout the entire series will receive a special Certificate of Merit and an exclusive Carlist token as a mark of appreciation for their steadfast commitment.
Special note:
For those who missed our opening session, we will be revisiting our first topic once the yearly schedule concludes so you can still receive your certificate of merit. Please keep in mind that tokens remain an exclusive benefit for our local members.
