The summer is over, rest is given and with it begins the new course of studies, and activities at large to strengthen our Catholic faith and foster the Carlist cause in this our land of Texas.
First of all, on a last minute note, Fr. Buckley will be leading a Silent Retreat for Men based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The retreat will be at Holy Family of Nazareth Retreat Center in Grand Prairie starting at 8pm tomorrow Thursday night, Sept. 1 and ending Sunday at 1pm. Each retreatant will have his own room and bathroom. Meals are included. To cover the cost of the retreat registration is $250. retreats@materdeiparish.com
St. Ignatius of Loyola, the great basque mystic, Church reformer and founder of the Jesuits is the patron saint of our circle. He is considered a prototype of Carlist for the crusade of his Company against the protestant revolution and the evangelization of the Americas and Asia. Furthermore, his spiritual exercises are key to find the love for Our Lord Jesus and make the commitment to build his kingdom.
Secondly, our rosary marches for the consecration of the state of Texas to the Sacred Heart of Jesus are set for September 10th, Saturday, 4 pm, at Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Tyler and Waco. I can not stress enough the importance of these marches through out our beloved state. Last Sunday, day of the Lord, a wicked drag show for kids took place again this time in Roanoke. The only difference with the one held in Dallas was that this time an «Antifa-armed» group of people set a perimeter to make sure the event took place with guns and Ar-15 type of rifles. Roanoke was a conservative town which now is reaping the fruits of the liberal mentality with its false dichotomy between conservatives and progressivists. Only the Sacred Heart of Jesus can break the curse under which our society is subjected. Only Jesus Our Lord can change the hearts of wicked men, the evil laws they enforce, and the public indecency they promote. Get with your friends and relatives and make a conscious effort to join our rosary marches. God does not reward the success but the effort to build his kingdom. We will begin Wednesday, September 14th at 7 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at Mater Dei Latin Mass Church for our traditional intentions. Termina el verano, se acabó el periodo de vacaciones y comienza el nuevo curso de estudios, con diversas actividades para fortalecer nuestra fe católica y fomentar la causa carlista en esta nuestra tierra de Tejas.
En primer lugar, un aviso de última hora: el P. Buckley dirigirá un retiro de silencio para hombres basado en los Ejercicios Espirituales de San Ignacio de Loyola. El retiro comenzará en el Holy Family of Nazareth Retreat Center en Grand Prairie, a partir de las 8:00 p. m. desde el jueves 1 de septiembre por la noche y finalizará el domingo a la 1:00 p. m. Cada participante tendrá su propia habitación y baño. Las comidas están incluidas. En segundo lugar, nuestras caminatas del rosario por la consagración del estado de Tejas al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús están programadas para el sábado 10 de septiembre a las 4 pm en Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Tyler y Waco. No puedo enfatizar lo suficiente la importancia de estas marchas a través de nuestro amado estado. El pasado domingo, día del Señor, se llevó a cabo nuevamente un malvado espectáculo de drag para niños esta vez en Roanoke. La única diferencia con el realizado en Dallas fue que esta vez un grupo de personas «armadas por Antifa» estableció un perímetro para asegurarse de que el evento se llevara a cabo con armas y rifles tipo Ar-15. Roanoke era un pueblo conservador que ahora está cosechando los frutos de la mentalidad liberal debido a la falsa dicotomía entre conservadores y progresistas.
